You and the people you invite can keep Stories private or share them with your private Community group.
Is Kinscape really private?
Yes. Each and every Community you create is private to you and yours. You control the audience, you control who sees your Content. Even our Kinscape technology team cannot see your content.

What do I get when I sign up for the Basic free plan?
You get one free community – free to you and free to all the Members you invite. You may invite anyone you choose. No credit card needed when you sign up.
You and your Members each enjoy a Personal Space where Stories can be created and kept private for as long as you choose (such as private journals, diaries, goals lists, medical records, educational records and more). You can upload and store important content in your Personal Vault.
Additionally, you and your Members have a Community Space where common-interest Stories can be shared, Members can add to the Stories, they can ‘like’ Stories and can add Comments and can upload a store key content in the shared Community Vault.
Every Member has a Member Profile where they can share information about themselves as they wish. Member Profiles are private to the Community – only other invited Community Members can view Member Profiles.
Your free Community has shared storage of 500 MB. If you need more storage you can upgrade your membership at anytime.
Who uses Kinscape?
Families use Kinscape to share Stories about life events, family Member achievements, family events, to share future plans and goals, as well as to remember ancestors and family history. Families often store or share proprietary information such family medical trends in this private space. Kinscape Stories tell of family life as it happens. Stories build and family histories are recorded and preserved for future generations.
People use Kinscape to share with a myriad of common-interest Community groups. Some examples are clubs, hobby groups, sports teams, home-schooling or educational tracking, and more. Even Associations and business enterprises can use Kinscape.
