Meet Our Founder

Peter Cunningham
Founder and CEO

To Peter, the most important human group is the family. He created Kinscape to help family members communicate across geographies and generations, and to give other social groups a safe, secure place to preserve the past and build for the future.

Originally from England, Peter made the US his home after graduating in physics from Imperial College, London. He then went on to build his career in computer sciences and founded the foremost analyst firm in information services, INPUT. For many years, international governments and industry used software and services market forecasts generated by INPUT due to its high caliber of staff and rigorous forecasting methodology. INPUT documents from 1975 to 2000 are available at www.inputicenter.com

Peter is co-author of the book, ‘Electronic Business Revolution,’ published by Springer Verlag in September 1999, and has had another book published on outsourcing. His thoughts and experiences are documented by the Computer History Museum, the Archives of Information Technology, and others.

A competitive sailor, Peter has raced a wide variety of boats in different locations around the world including Atlantic and Pacific crossings (www.powerplay.ky). He has held two sailing World Records and won many trophies.

The connection to family, their ability to communicate in a safe and secure online space and their ability to stay connected across geographies remains among Peter’s highest priorities and is the driving inspiration for Kinscape.
